How much does a replacement key cost for 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

I was wondering on a price range. I havent lost my keys but I want a spare just in case. Also my alarm key is pretty beat up around how much would that run me for a new one. Could I go to an ace hardware & get a spare?
