I need help choosing a tablet?

I am looking to buy a tablet, I have a Macbook Pro so I am familiar with Apple products but I also have an Android phone and I love the customizability. I have looked at the Acer transformer, Toshiba Thrive and some of the other android tablets, and I really like android but the Ipad connects to my computer so much easier. As far as hardware and bang for my buck which tablet would you recommend?
