How to make Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick work for Windows 7?

I would like to use the joystick on my Windows 7 64 bit computer but the installation CD that came with the joystick does not work on my operating system. On the Microsoft website, I saw the driver for Sidewinder hardware for Windows 95 and 98, but not Windows 7. How can I get the joystick to work on my computer?
